Opening in June 2026, its proximity to the Connecticut River and backdrop of pastoral peaks will make outdoor pursuits an appealing pull. And with tricked-out tents to return to, fireside s’more sessions and season-led dining, your tented base itself will be an equally captivating affair.

Zion
Red-rock canyons, sandstone cliffs and wide open skies backdrop tented resort Under Canvas Zion, at the westerly edge of its namesake national park. Acadia
Coastal Maine’s natural beauty surrounds Under Canvas Acadia, an all-about-comfort camp that puts you half an hour from Acadia National Park’s scenic front door. Tents are set for restorative slumbers, with cushy king-size beds and wood-burning stoves, that’ll have you raring to go come morning. Fill days outdoors hiking the park’s peaks, cooing at its sweeping seascapes (sunrises over Cadillac Mountain are worth the early start) and exploring its Atlantic-lapped coves, before closing it all off with a fresh lobster roll back at camp.

Resting on Tennessee’s side of the range, Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains gives explorers an upscale basecamp from which to roam its lush landscapes. Canvas tents grace this verdant valley’s 182 acres, elevated with high-spec king-size beds, handcrafted furnishings and wood-burning fireplaces. Outside, 800 miles of hiking trails, plus wildflower meadows, rapids and rafting await. Lake Powell
The stars align in more ways than one at Under Canvas Lake Powell – Grand Staircase, where you can survey the namesake lake, Mars-like landscape and towering mesas from its privileged canyon’s-edge perch. During the day, explore the onsite slot canyon or a host of camera-roll-filling natural sights that are accessible on foot, horseback or by boat. Come nightfall, star-freckled skies canopy the camp where fireside s’mores and live music bring a feelgood finale to lo-fi days.

The Fields of Michigain
Among blueberry fields and woodland, The Fields of Michigan has a crop of cottages and tents, ripe for the picking if you’re looking to unplug and revel in nature. This rural escape is a place to bicycle to the lake, cool off in the pool and unwind with a massage beneath the trees. Evenings unfold with feasts shared outdoors at twilight, moving to drinks and s’mores, fireside. Summer’s plump blueberries are yours to forage as you please.
The Fields of Michigan is open until 2 November 2025. For 2026, it will open from 30 April to 1 November. -
North Yellowstone
Reconnect with your wild side at Under Canvas North Yellowstone – Paradise Valley, an upscale outdoorsy retreat near the national park’s north entrance. Back at base, grill your dinner under the stars and debrief your day around the fire pit (about which we’re sure you’ll have plenty to say).
